So Kaido basically had the temu version of a "gauntlet".

Imu: Trashed post Wano Zoro and Sanji, then fought Loki, fought and trashed awakened Luffy and now defeated Gaban. Kaido faced mostly rookies or veterans without CoC.

:risisweat:

@Elder Lee Hung @Sentinel @kekaro @Kurozumi Wiwi
I mean Imu and Kaido are not even in the same tier, these comparisons only exist because of a few remaining fanatics

you don't understand, if kaido didn't get stabbed by kiku he would have won vs g5

So Imu basically casually repelled all of Gaban's strongest attacks when attempting to know who he is, his ideology and purpose, ended up bleeding in the face because he was focused on killing Luffy underestimating Gaban's all out attack, then finishing him off, slicing his arm apart.

The impressive stuff is that Gaban's attack made him bleed, which also served to give Gaban some hype due to his status as an old legend in decline, but in terms of fighting capabilities, it was a no contest, but then again, by scaling it was obvious

Damage done by Gaban to Imu is not hype stuff(we saw Imu bleed from base Luffy punch), it's the fact that it looks like he went through Imu's omen barrier that is impressive
BIG MAYBE

But we can see that nothing was touching Imu when we got a closeup later. And this is supposed to be Gaban’s ultimate attack, the Divine Gate was apparently a separate attack (?).

Imu got partially hit by Divine Gate when he was trying to Stigma Luffy.

Gaban being able to pierce through the omen defense that Loki couldn’t bypass was the huge hype.

Gaban did great for an heavily injured old man.

But it's just delusional to use his performance to downplay Loki who was straight up confirmed stronger than his yonger version 14 years ago.

Condom on another hand...
