Considering how close Scopper Gaban is to Gol D Roger, do you guys think EoS Sanji will be a God Tier too?
With Zoro it makes sense as Oda has made it that way the entire story, but Sanji has been definitively a fodder to Luffy majority of the manga so how would Oda make sense?
For example Zoro fought Luffy equally EL yet Sanji was trash
Arlong was scared of Zoro yet he trashed Sanji
Thriller Bark Zoro had better feats than Sanji
Dressrosa Zoro was stronger than Luffy while Sanji was weaker than Vergo

With Zoro it makes sense as Oda has made it that way the entire story, but Sanji has been definitively a fodder to Luffy majority of the manga so how would Oda make sense?
For example Zoro fought Luffy equally EL yet Sanji was trash
Arlong was scared of Zoro yet he trashed Sanji

Dressrosa Zoro was stronger than Luffy while Sanji was weaker than Vergo

Sorry for the bad new, but in Oda's mind Zoro and Sanji had always been (and always will be) close to each others, with Zoro slightly ahead.

Oda literally and categorically stated Sanji is weaker than Zoro like 4 times
All four are from books authored by Oda
If Oda had Sanji = Zoro why did he
-Have Arlong get scared of life with Zoro and trash Sanji like trash he is
-Have Zoro and Luffy fight the most equal fight in the series rather than Zoro and Sanji?
-Have Zoro and Luffy be supernovas not Zoro and Sanji
-Trash Pica no diff while Sanji losing to weaker fighter Vergo and Zoro being stronger than even Doffy in Dressrosa
-Have Zoro Scar Kaido and outshine Luffy in roof top
-Unlock AdvCoC in Same arc as Luffy while Sanji is still chasing AdvCoC
Whole Arc Sanji has been portrayed as a fodder, a cockroach, a pile of trash compared to Zoro
And suddenly Oda wants to asspull his ass up to Luffy and Zoro level through Scopper Gaban, it makes no sense.
Is that why Kaido had to stay still for Luffy's final hit to land, and he reassured him he wouldn't move out of the way?
Lol, it's okay to admit that the dude who needed 10 other people to help him beat Kaido, and can't fight in his strongest form for more than 10 minutes without turning into Abe Simpson, can't defeat healthy Kaido in a 1v1. Kaido wanted to lose, and gave Luffy the chance to overpower him, when he could have easily dodged Bajrang Gun. Kaido wanted to create the new Joy Boy.
That's the funniest thing people don't realize: KAIDO GOT WHAT HE WANTED. He couldn't be Joy Boy, so, he wanted Joy Boy to beat him, to ensure the new Joy Boy was strong enough to fight the true monsters in the verse. Hence the toe-to-toe comment: Kaido knows Luffy won't beat him in a clean 1v1, but, he's HYPED that Luffy can hang with him.
I think Shanks is stronger than Kaido, but, that's pretty much it in terms of Pirates.
No way Teach has already surpassed Kaido when he was struggling with Law.

Out of curiosity, what percentage HP do you think Kaido was at, when Luffy went into Gear 5? I think it was between 25-15%. I also think Linlin and Kaido would have gotten back up if they didn't land in liquid.
Issue Gear 5 had against Kaido was this: Luffy was much faster than Kaido at that point, but he couldn't generate enough force to put him down. Kaido realized this, and gave Luffy the chance to knock him out in a 1v1 with their strongest attacks, rather than dodge.
Luffy's Bajrang Gun is more powerful than Kaido's strongest stuff (obviously), but, it's still a weaker move in general, because of its slow load up time.
I still have Flame Dragon Torch as a more dangerous technique, because Kaido can fly around using it, and just touching him will melt you. If Luffy misses Bajrang gun, that's it, he missed.
Only attacks more dangerous we've seen than Flame Dragon Torch are Newgate's ridiculous Gura feats, and Imu's wild-ass-nonsense. I don't think we've seen Loki's strongest stuff yet, either, because we haven't seen his Hyrbid.
Bajrang Gun is incredibly powerful, but it's too slow, any top tier not choosing to take the attack, like Kaido did, will dodge it.

Bajrang Gun is a move that takes one turn to load, and has a high chance to miss. Flame Dragon Torch does less damage overall, but more AOE damage, and you don't need to stand still to use it, and if you miss, you can just course correct.

It's good, I love that. He got over-confident. At first with gear 5, I thought growth would come from the control of the fruit that seemed to impose a form of "jovial cockyness" over the host, altough we might not get rid of this idea, I love the fact that Luffy simply took for granted his power-up and title..
