It's garbage due to inconsistency. FS usage is extremely random and it's impossible to tell many times whether a character is using ACOC or not.
Nah man, the reason nobody understand the rules of the Haki power system isn't because it is an inconsistent mess, it is because Goda is a genius and we are not worthy :risisweat:

It’s a cheap rip off of chi. And somehow is worse
Chi is good, but too restrictive. Haki allows for thematic relevancy.

Haki is not simply a power system, it's also a characterization system and a subversion system (as Haki is a universal power that even weaker character can developp). On top of that, it's versatile, fluid, not rigid and have different structural forms that can create amazingly powerfull narrative and cinematic moments without ever losing its simplicity.

It's indeed close to being the ultimate shonen power system.

Can you spot the visual difference between Advanced Armament Haki and Advanced Conquerors Haki (CoC coating)? Because many users cannot.

I think the Haki system was good until we reached Wano. Then things started to become extra complicated when Oda pulled out ACoC.

Would be nice to be more visually distinct yeah but I really can't think of any power system that:

- is as simple at its baseline
- everyone in the verse can access
- scales as high
- looks as cool
- is as hype
