Theory What i think the one piece is....

If one piece is mecha heart why Roger laughed and he showed no awe or admiration about this item?? Obvious one piece is something daily nobody expected to see in this place. Maybe he found a letter or a skech told him the one piece is the strawhat already had everyday together with him but after gift it to shanks he lost it. Roger found one piece to early because you must have with you the strawhat when you reach the laugh tale. Or he found the strawhat too early because the strawhat must go back to his owner luffy "joy boy" before you reach the laugh tale. Possible Roger shanks luffy already have the one piece every day but they don't know it and how to use it. For them they are just a hat. Maybe shanks know something more even for Roger. Oblivious strawhat is the missing part for something. If you reach to laugh tale possible you must have with you the strawhat. Without the strawhat is just useless time. Imu already have 1x strawhat. Maybe you need both strawhats to use it. 1x imu and 1x joy boy. Possible imu keep the other strawhat to protect it and nobody found it. Maybe need the luffy strawhat too to ensure nobody will find what hats unlock. All big protagonists connected with strawhat. I don't think is just a normal accessorie. Maybe looks poor but obvious all the series connected with it. Possible the laugh tale can make clear to people what strawhats can do. Maybe he found an old memorial photo from imu and joy boy together wearing strawhats before something happened to them and start fighting.

Rojer laughted when he found mecha heart aka one piece trézor cuz teh mécha heart was created from scrap and metal leftovers gathred from trash...u can say one piece trézor is piece of trash....if u read kids ace sabo lufy flashbacks u'll find forshadiwng when bluejam pirates ask lufy and ace : "where u hid that trézor in this mass of trash.."...
