Do you know how bad the series would be if Luffy wasn’t heavily restricted?
It doesn't even have to be from the perspective you're assuming, in terms of g5 being restricted, but the way luffy is going about it treating this whole scenario he is in like a game. But even if we look at it from what you're proposing:
Whose fault is it for
creating that kind of scenario in the first place? to where the MC has to be heavily restricted?
This is what happens when you get a bullshit reality warping power up, you have to rinse and repeat the
same set-backs which seems like total BS and not organic at all.
Luffy went through the same thing with G4, seemingly got used to it, but all of a sudden that doesn't make a difference at all with gear 5, in fact it's even worse. Even Kaioken makes way more sense because of the stress that amp puts on the users body, with G5 luffy is laughing and playing until he just abruptly can't anymore.
Awakening
is supposed to be a result of devil fruit mastery, when mind
and body are in synergy, it's almost like it should be a result of you better managing your stamina, but ironically when the MC reaches awakening he now has to master the awakening, not just from a utility perspective which makes sense, but another superficial stamina imposed setback.
Either way it doesn't matter, the reason I also like shitting on luffy is because of people that believe somehow that luffy is stronger than Mihawk for example after getting g5, when it was blatantly obvious Luffy gets one shot like the bum he is. What scopper is saying just blatantly confirms what I and many others have been saying over and over, but what went over many peoples heads.
You have people continually glaze luffy like he's already the pirate king pre-emptively just because we know he'll get there eventually. So what's wrong with shitting on him while he's not there? that's call a healthy amount of negativity to combat the
toxic-positivity
Because people already act like he's a god on another level and try to justify his 24/7 goofy behaviour but scopper has to tell him to take things seriously, and many have had this sentiment for some time now.
