Remember Luffy ate a bunch of food prior to fighting. Awakened Zoans have quicker recovery and Luffy knows how to use Life Return.

I agree. While I think post Wano has been an improvement overall, I think I've reached a point where I've outgrown this manga. I only read to see how it ends. Maybe one day when this is all over I'll give One Piece as a whole a reread, but for I want this to be done lol. Post Timeskip has had a lot of rough patches and Oda was a bit over ambitious with the scale of it all.

Yeah dude Im sick of One Piece, but I cant stop now Ive come too far. I just want it to end. I will never re-read it, but I do want to see the resolution to all this. I want to know what happens after the Final War and see Luffy become PK, but i've given up on Oda giving us any kind of truly satisfying ending for everyone. The SH's get almost no focus, and there's just way too much going on. A million side characters and a million fodder reaction panels. Its tiring and annoying. Considering all the breaks OP won't end until the year 2036 or later. At this point I try to be a monthly reader and not weekly, and sometimes I still only come back to see 2 chapters available to read after 4-5 weeks lol its ridiculous. Oda is lucky his fanbase is so loyal to this overly massive and disjointed story.

Nah One Piece is ending sooner. Elbaf is clearly wrapping up things to set up for the final Act of the story. We're already at the point where he's fighting IMU.

Oda introducing too many side characters is a very real criticism. That choice has limited SH interaction exponentially, which was the heart of the series Pre Timeskip. As for the ending, I think it will be satisfying. He already has it written afterall. It's just getting there that's the wait lol.

Calling it massive and disjointed is a hot take lol. One Piece has a few glaring problems, but if there's one thing it's not, is disjointed. Oda still does a very good job at interweaving his worldbuilding plot points. It's the one of the many things One Piece does right lol.

I never said they weren't neccesary for the story. I'm saying the Straw Hats got neglected in the process.

Lack of proper development for the Straw Hats outside of Sanji.
