I think you have missed the point.

Saying I have more info but I won't tell you how, because I'm scared of scum and can get more. Means very little to scum in the game because they are going to treat you like you gave the information or not now.

So a town would share the information and not just let scum benefit from it.

Just caught up with the thread. Well can't say I caught up completely. I flew through a lot of it because there are a ridiculous number of pages to get through, so apologies if I missed something.

From what I gathered, I'm currently also leaning Ratchet.

The biggest thing that stands out to me is how much of his game has been focused on directing the conversation and deciding what everyone else should be looking at, rather than actually narrowing down the scum pool himself. The Orca/Naomi/indie stuff in particular seems to have taken up a disproportionate amount of attention.

His readlist also doesn't really sit well with me. There are a lot of Nulls, while some of the stronger reads are presented with quite a bit of certainty without the level of reasoning I'd expect to back them up.

I don't want to just sheep Orca either. I'm putting my vote here based on Ratchet's own play. Hopefully it won't keep going in circles with the same arguments.
