I'm giving him grace, since he's still got bigger campaigns to write after Zhao. Long as the ending for Zhao is good, i'm satisfied with the amount of strategical arcs we've gotten related to Zhao, leaning more story-based to finish off the Zhao-storyline is fine with me tbh.

He's still got the giant campaigns of Chu to write, the massive Wei campaign. Also gotta save strategical showcasing for when the current gen becomes full generals, without just repeating redundant strategies (cause lets be honest, there's only so many new formations/tactics he can come up with atp).

But yea another arc like Shukai would be amazing, hoping Yan or Wei is that next big Shukai-like arc.

I do think Hara has god tier manga arcs left in him, this most recent arc just seems to really be focused on Shin vs Riboku in a larger sense and is not focusing on the nitty gritty warfare (which is what makes Kingdom goated). I still have faith WARA is in there lol. These new stats he came out with are not terrible actually.

I dont think Imus statement means Gaban is as strong as Rock was, just that he became very strong.

Kinda, yeah. The narrative sort of demands that nobody have been capable of beating Imu up until this point. If other characters could have managed it on a good day, then that makes the whole idea of them being forced to wait because "they were too early/needing someone to surpass them" fairly ridiculous.

I mean it’s kinda written out plainly. Roger said that someone in the future will come and surpass him and claim the one piece.

The idea that anyone else is surpassing him just feels random
