For certain? I can't say. But it's in the same realm, probably just bit stronger than Shanks' hence why the Giants questioned it. Ray's Haki is comped with Shanks' by Oda himself. I can see Roger's Haki being on par with Joyboy's, they're the two most pivotal pirates of the past 900 years.

But I also don't view Joyboy as this untouchable entity that's Top 1, like a lot of you guys do. And it's fairly clearly from today's chapter, Imu has no idea how strong the present day top dogs or even top dogs of the old gen truly are.

I feel like yall are making the exact same mistake Zolo fans made for decades, by assuming lethality = actual strength lol. Zolo’s attacks are more lethal than Luffy’s, but Luffy was still much stronger than Zolo even pre Gear 5.

Same thing with Gaban and Woki. Gaban’s full power AdCoC managed to paper cut a Hakiless x2 distracted Imu, meanwhile against Woki, Imu was spamming island sized AdCoC nukes. Imu defeated Gaban with a Hakiless booger btw.

I’m not talking about what we already saw, I’m talking about what might’ve happened. We didn’t see Imu at the end of last chapter.

Broski painthawks rival and the guy that is loved by oda said him and loki cant go up against Imu (a imu shanks not even see his full potential)

Imu hyped Joyboy as an individual, which is cool...But again Imu has 0 idea how strong the present day top tiers are or how strong Newgate/Roger/Garp were at their peaks. Nothing even from Imu ever indicated Joyboy beat him 1on1.

Furthermore, during that time Imu didn't have the power of the 20 Kings that he has now, as the 20 Kings were alive and on their own. So it's not even the Imu that potentially would've fought Joyboy in a 1on1

Again, the Mural is drawn with Imu and 6 soldiers while Joyboy is coming at him with an army. Joyboy is coming at Imu with the superior numbers (now we know Imu and Joyboy both had more people than shown on the Mural symbolically), but point being Joyboy was fighting against Imu with numbers.
