Imu was literally trying to kill Luffy and having a flashback when Gaban attacked him, Imu was doubly distracted and still defeated Gaban with no Haki and boogers

Well while i think its retarded to say what agenda head says with 1% reading skills (no bro you dont understand rayleigh named attack will be giga strong cause it was revealed so late!!!) i think this applies more to story beats.


Oda doesnt really like repeat the same attacks/fight build-up (thats why for example every time luffy went against kaido it progressively got harder and kaido keep pulling new stuff and escalating)


If Imu is already pushed to his second form by old injured gaban, regardless of power scaling, it would not make "sense" for oda to ever start off Imu in the future as a final villain in his og form, for example against luffy i would repeat treaded ground, also he pulled more then half of his weapons already out and still keeps going.

Oda not revealing the full power of the yami yami, and not revealing logia awakening, which the yami yami is, before imus mural devil form makes me kinda perk up
