Is it just me i no longer feel hyped like before about Elbaf arc. Too many things are happening we are yet to see zoro and Sanji fighting their opponents .

What did Chopper and Bibbolo talk ? Maybe route to heaven world ? If Ragnorock happens and destruction of Elbaf is imminent. Rest of Giants will migrate on top of the world.

God please give mythical type fruit Surtr to Hajrudin or make akainu come to elbaf for surtr role.
Ragnarok is not happening without Surtr.

Well honestly, I like all the other things more than Zoro and Sanji's fight against Bummers and KillingL.

I cant take those two Holy-Bums seriously since it takes Imu's Omen power-up to make them serious opponents for Zoro and Sanji.

Yeah, the God's Knight are really disapointing.
Even Shamrock with his doggy sword attack on Loki didn't look that impressive tbh

That shit about Luffy recovering from what Imu did to him, through food completely destroyed any sense of danger.

Now 1190 looks empty too.

I honestly have no idea where Oda is going with this.

I won't give a final verdict just yet. But based on spoilers, this chapter is the worst crap we've gotten in Elbaf so far.

I don't think people here would be happy with any option, truthfully. He's out of the fight for a while: He's a pussy. He uses some cartoon power to fix the wounds: Ass pull. The thing with food giving him stamina: No tension.

I suppose the food thing doesn't really heal said wounds, he's still fighting on despite them, which is at least better then dragging a fight out longer.

Personally I would have had Luffy just manipulate his body to close his wounds. He had basically perfect control over his body's form in G5, so that should totally work. Wouldn't fix anything permanently, would be similar enough to things other characters have done to not feel like too much of an asspull (like Doffy holding his body together with strings) and since would mean the wounds would STILL open up when Luffy fell out of G5 (or he lost focus), it would maintain a degree of tension.

That's kind of what I said, though. Because if that did indeed happen, then there would be complaints of being able to pull powers out of his ass and there's now no tension, etc.

I guess merely fighting on with said wounds and then have Chopper take care of him after the arc is probably the best option.

I hope Luffy goes full Nika / Joy Boy powerup this arc and defeats Imu right here, completely finishing the Nika / Joy Boy story.
Then Blackbeard shows up and takes Luffy's fruit completely away and we get a fruitless Luffy the rest of the story in his race against Blackbeard to become King of the Pirates.

The manner in which Luffy was beaten was so brutal that he should’ve been in intensive care for a week. Oda went too far, he should’ve toned down the severity of his defeat. That would’ve made Luffy’s hasty return far more justifiable. But Oda seems more concerned with the spectacle of these moments than with the logic behind them. So, yes, people wouldn't be happy with any option, but that's on Oda here.
