The panel you posted showed Loki landing three bits (at max) on Harald, the first hit was the one that removed the mark which is later shown getting restored.
And you have reading comprehension issues. The remark about haki was about Roger. Temu Roger (like some refer to Shanks) had his haki directly compared to JBs. Trying to turn this in Kaido discredit and downplay is such a noob move.

Yes but dont confuse manhandling Harald with beating Harald.

While Loki beats Harald at his own game - size advantage, he ultimately cannot beat Harald.
Why? Because Harald's haki is stronger and regenerates everything Loki has to offer.
It simply happened that a convenient plot device showed up and Harald himself removed that major obstacle - his haki defense.
While Loki would continue to beat him black and blue, he wouldnt be able to make damage stick and would gas out and Harald would prevail in the end.

The difference between Zoro Luffy comparison and Gaban Loki, is that against Gaban, Imu was trying and defending. He wasn’t taking cheap shots against a character not defending himself like Zoro was on the rooftop.
Hybrid Loki should outperform Gaban but as of now Gabans the standard for a good performance. Hell, he’s treating losing the arm as just a wound and ready to keep fighting.
