The difference between Zoro Luffy comparison and Gaban Loki, is that against Gaban, Imu was trying and defending. He wasn’t taking cheap shots against a character not defending himself like Zoro was on the rooftop.

Hybrid Loki should outperform Gaban but as of now Gabans the standard for a good performance. Hell, he’s treating losing the arm as just a wound and ready to keep fighting.

Nah, the fact of the matter is that Loki and Imu fought for five chapters, spamming AdCoC nukes and island sized explosions, Gaban and Imu was nothing on the scale of that. Asura Zolo scarring Kaido doesn’t mean he performed better against Kaido than Nika did, Gaban piercing Imu’s defenses doesn’t mean he performed better than the guy tanking numerous island sized AdCoC nukes from Imu and fighting on par with him for five chapters while mortally wounded.

The fact is that Gaban was one shot by an Imu who wasn’t even using Haki while Loki tanked multiple omen AdCoC explosions and named weapon attacks in addition to who knows how many attacks while Loki and Imu continued to battle off screen spamming island sized nukes at each other.

If you think Imu and Loki spamming island sized attacks against each other doesn’t matter, you may as well argue the fact that Luffy’s Bajrang Gun is island sized is completely meaningless and that Jet Pistol ~ Bajrang Gun because size and scale is irrelevant lmfao. If you think the fact that Imu didn’t even use AdCoC to one shot Imu while Loki tanked multiple AdCoC strikes from Imu, you may as well disregard the past 4 years of people acting like AdCoC is the most relevant power in the verse lmfao. Everything's on the table for this arc and whatever comes next, especially if Imu's trip to Elbaph costs him dearly. I'm just not sure whether BB would steal the fruit outright or absorb and store the power in the Yami void. But regardless, all this Imu exposure is not a good look for him being the endgame villain. The more we see him struggle the less final boss he feels.

No, a more accurate comparison would be White Star Gun ~ Bajrang Gun here. Size and scale is relevant but so is speed and AP. Gaban got comparable progress on Imu to Loki using his speed and ap and not his endurance/defense and aoe

With BB the whole dynamic flips. His struggles are what's shaping him into something larger than life. He feels more and more like an anti-Imu. Imu is stagnation, 800 years glued to a throne, afraid of being challenged. BB is all momentum. Always growing, always "absorbing," always pushing forward. Imu clings. BB hunts.

imu face tanked loki's adcoc attack and took less damage than gaban's attack did through his strongest guard.

imu didn't even use an actual legendary weapon vs loki

he was monologuing mid fight and didn't take him seriously

as soon as luffy joined imu dropped loki like child would drop a toy they got bored of playing with
