Speculations Xebec didn't kill the admiral, Imu did it

#1
The evidence for this is overwhelming:

- Xebec turned out to be a good guy, and Oda doesn't allow good guys to kill.

- Xebec's moment was in the flashback, and Oda didn't even bother to show any of the supposed fight against the admiral. If Xebec defeated him, why not show something to hype Xebec up?

- Xebec is too weak to kill an admiral:
• It's already been shown that all the great pirates became much stronger after God Valley and far surpassed him.

• Even if Prime Xebec were a Top Tier pirate, he was clearly a novice; he should be far from an admiral in any scenario.

My theory is that Imu killed the admiral. Imu is the only one with enough power to do it.

Imu likely pursued Xebec, encountered the admiral, and they fought until the admiral was critically wounded.

This allowed Xebec to escape, and the World Government later blamed him.

Rocks is probably more grey than he is good, he’s not necessarily a good man nor is he evil. He has a sense of honor and values friendship/family. In regards to the admiral it said he succumbed to his injuries, they had a battle he just couldn’t survive it from what we are told. There isn’t anything in his story that painted him as a good man.

It's an interesting theory. I don't recessarily agree with the logic but it is interesting.

Hostage diff is likelier though tbh.

Ehh, so like a mini Domi that gives no powerup, just mind control?

Has Imu ever done that before?
no, only people he controlled so far are:

Brogy
Dorry
Fodder giants
Harald
Gunko
Xebec
Xebec's family
Saturn
Mars

and they all received some sort of power up in the process

he can't mind control unless with DR or if you have a mark tattoo

and there's no way an admiral is getting a tattoo without being a Holy Knight or Devoted Blade (i.e Harald and Shanks)

Yeah....I do think the death of Admiral Scissors is dubious but Imu directly doing it is unlikely unless it's a Saturn scenario.

He died defending his family
Bad people don’t love their families? :suresure:

Rocks is probably more grey than he is good
His ambitions and methods were decidedly not grey. Rocks didn’t want to destroy the boot, he wanted to be the boot. A benevolent tyrant is still a tyrant, and not only does tyranny not rule by consent, it requires constant management and reinforcement to keep the subjugated down and compliant.

Xebec is a lighter shade of black compared to... Say Kaido but he still has dreams of tyranny and would have caused the deaths of millions if he achieved his goals
