What is very interesting - Oda telegraphed something in this chapter that may not immediately catch the eye of everyone.

In 1190, when Gaban and Imu use : 8000 Slashes "Grim Throng", and "Honebami," respectively - events changes for a moment and returns to them when Gaban is already lying without an arm.

The last panel of that chapter looked to me like Oda had skipped part of that fight.

But it turns out that didn't happen.

In this chapter, Imu himself admits that Honebami deprived Gaban of "only" one arm.

So "8000 slash..." attack did this to Imu:

"Forced" is a little much. Lol. Guy got sent plummeting however many kilometres while getting slashed up, got a bunch of relatively minor cuts, and then instsntly regenerated and jumped right back to where Gaban was. I'm sure he could have handled things without the new form, given how much worse off Gaban was from that trade (and how his injuries would mean he COULDN'T replicate that same move even if Imu willingly stood still and let him try).

Still crazy how well Gaban did though. Seems like Imu is actually taking him seriously now, rather than doing the bare minimum.

injured guernica who was at like 30% of his health max shouldn't have endured an acoc attack from amped up hybrid kaido at all, let alone long enough to take a picture of luffy's nika form
Pell should've died from the bomb
It didn't really make sense for carrot and wanda to be straight up beating perospero in a fight even if they were both sulong
kidd and law should not have been even close to defeating big mom when their haki compared to her's was basically nonexistent
so on and so forth
