Powers & Abilities If Logia's weren't invulnerable how would it change the story?

If Logia users weren't Invulnerable and only Control/Create their Element. How would that affect the story?

Well, Haki wouldn't really needed then. Like Kuzan definitely would still have whooped the Straw Hats, even if they could hurt him, but it wouldn't be a thing where you *have* to have such a power to fight him.

So if this scenario was real or not, it wouldn't have change much post time skip

Oda should had just not done Logia that can't be normally countered like Light

I would have honestly been fine with Logias not being invincible, or at the least, tied to stamina, in exchange for no Haki as a concept.

Of course, the Holy Knights wouldn't be totally invincible, either.

I still like the idea of trying to find a counter to specific logia powers, it made fights so much more interesting. Obviously we still needed haki to touch them, but this uber reliance on haki is irritating, it removed a lot of fun from fights. It's now who has a better haki, and don't get me wrong, DFs still play a role, more as a hax then anything.

But what if they don't have one? Like no one could fight Sakazuki without Haki, unless they dump a huge bunch of water on him...which is every DF weakness.

That's why I said we still needed haki, but a basic one. But even without haki, there are ways to do it. For example using air pressure attacks against Akinu to cool off part of his body into a solid rock to punch. You could use mirrors against Kizaru. Fire attacks, or friction attacks to create heat against Aokiji. Obviously it has to be imbedded in the overall one piece logic, in a similar manner how Luffy can touch Enel but in reality he shouldn't be able to. If Oda kept the same logic it would have been so much more interesting. You could also use your sweat to touch Akinu or Ace, Swordsman can even use special attacks with a lot of air in it. They can use the deflection of their swords to counter Kizaru's light. Fishmen karate could have played a much bigger role against logia users because of its woter and air attacks. Imagine a one piece world without haki where characters actually have to create techniques to counter DF users. Now it's just haki, haki, haki... There's no creativity anymore. What's the answer to this knew hax power? Oh, a stronger haki, so original.

Feels like they'd just be a sub-class of Paramythia with elemental powers similar to Katakuri's mochi.

Earlier characters like Smoker, Crocodile, Ace, Enel, wouldn’t have been considered so tough. They were really riding on the whole intangibility wave. The admirals would still have been top tier they don’t really need it as much to be fearsome.

I feel like Katakuri should have been syrup or sap. That way, he still would be a Logia, and even closer to Luffy's power.
