Noland could he top tier or weaker than the Tobi Roppo, and we will never know.

I have never watched any of the One Piece movies.

I'd highly recommend Strong World and Film Z. Gold and Red are also fun, and there are some hidden gems further back, but those are the two best, IMO. Shiki is really fun in Strong World. and Z is better written than pretty much every Admiral who isn't Kuzan, maybe Fuji. I'm a sucker with dudes with giant metal arms.

I've always put off watching this, because One Piece is a comfort series for me, and I don't want to watch the crew suffer more. Need to get around to it.

My theory is that Roger got PISSED at some of the shit Sommers said when the God's Knights came for Shanks, and blasted Sommer's hard enough to destroy his heart completely. Vegapunk was forced to make Sommers a new heart. Vegapunk joined the WG 26 years ago, and Roger went to Laugh Tale 25 years ago, there's a year where it could have happened.

So, I'm hoping Lilith gives Zoro the details on how to kill Sommers/his heart.

This made me think back to this random panel on Egghead. I forget the official translation (unless this is it), but, York's "besides, we don't wanna rack up anymore "sins", our relationship is already troubled enough", has bugged me FOR A LONG TIME, what the fuck does this mean?

Imu going, "Sorry, Sommers, you did too much sin, I gotta kill ya, now" would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO funny and out of left field.

The Demonic element of the God's Knights/Imu is by far the most interesting aspect of them, IMO.

I believe the Holy Knights themselves serve as phylacteries for Imu to maintain his immortality, and it is possible each Knight has what Sommers has, the means to maintain the Covenant.

So, had Zoro simply destroyed it when he saw it, I presume Sommers would instantly perish and Imu would be weakened.

Perhaps, somewhere deep in Mariejois, Imu has one just for himself?

Another thing about Liches: They are strongest in a place they make as a lair. Like Imu with Mariejois.

Team 8 has easily got to be Kishimoto’s most mismanaged characters. They were actually very impressive in the Chunin Exams.

They had the best cheating methods in the written exam. Shino using his bugs to cheat was pretty much undetectable. Kiba’s and Hinata’s cheating methods were a bit more obvious, but still pretty discreet (certainly much better than Tenten hanging mirrors on the ceiling, Ino passing out mid exam, and Gaara forming a floating eyeball)

They were the first team to pass the Forest of Death

Hinata didn’t do good in the preliminaries, but in her defense she did get paired with the 2nd strongest Genin at the time, who was also just a direct upgrade of her. Kiba was kicking Naruto’s ass and only lost to a fart gag. Shino demolished Zaku and would have likely been promoted to Chunin along with Shikamaru had his fight with Kankuro played out in the actual exam, since he clearly had the power, cunning, and levelheadedness needed to become a Chunin.

And then cut to Shippuden, where Kiba and Shino do jack shit, and Hinata is only slightly relevant just for shipping purposes. And then there’s Kurenai, who got to do nothing besides be Asuma’s baby momma

Get real bro, the people wouldn't be moved by Kurenai and Kiba. Shino is alright, but he didn't really *need* more.

Only Neji was really wasted. The rest would have just gotten Sakura vs sasori tier victories if they had the screentime.
