The reason he is there for me is he keeps talking about it and in the game where he was the dead army dude he kept talking about it over and over and everyone ignored it even though he was the only person carrying on about it.

A single direction is fine, unless it doesn't become a tunnel and we miss the little things around us as well. Keeping people talking and asking questions is the way to go.

I would find it a bit sus if anyone discouraged looking around even when the focus is going one direction.

Hold your horses now and listen to me real good I don't have a single thing to do with this whole mess, and my hands are as clean as a fresh-washed sheet on the line. I ain't pullin' no strings behind the scenes, I ain't stirrin' up the pot, and I certainly ain't the one callin' the shots around here, so don't you go pointin' fingers my way.

Truth is, I'm just sitting over here mindin' my own beeswax, purely admiring the way folks talk and takin' in the sweet sound of a proper Southern accent. Is there something wrong with a person just appreciating a little local flair and watchin' the scenery go by while the world turns?
