Controversial Ulti is going to become a straw-hat

let me explain why I believe this to be the case

first lets start with the elephant in the room many people think that Loki will be the next straw hat, and i to am one of those people but I don't think he'll travel with them island to island much like Yamato joined the crew but opted to stay on Wano to keep it safe from outside forces, I believe Loki will follow a similar path he'll become a strawhat and likely be involved in the final war against the world government but he won't travel with them island to island Elbaf will become under Luffy's flag and Loki will stay on to protect it from outside forces (assuming Imu doesn't take over completely) so with those two powerhouses staying to protect islands under luffys flag we technically haven't had anyone join as an official traveling companion since Jinbe which i guess was relatively recently in the lore of the story but irl that was nearly a decade ago.

Ulti would make the perfect candidate for straw hat that's actually on the ship

1- she isn't so powerful she'll mess up the power dynamics of the monster trio, but still powerful enough that she can hold her own
2- she wouldn't be the first former enemy to join them, both Robin and Franky where antagonist at first as well
3- Yamato can vouch for her, and Luffy will immediately be able to tell she has good intentions it's like a sixth sense he has.
4- We haven't gotten a new devil member since Brook pre time skip
5- Idk about the rest of you but I'm getting tired of the Zoro vs Sanji rivalry it's getting stale and boring i want a fresh one, Ulti vs Nami rivalry would be awesome.
6- Strawhats need another woman and one that can fight on the front lines both Nami and Robin are support and crowd control
7- She reprsents a race that the strawhats don't have on their crew or the extended grand fleet crew which is an Oni, Yamato is one but as i said she isn't a traveling companion even tho i personally consider her a straw hat, Ulti can be that representation that travels with the strawhats.

I'm sure i can come up with other reasons' but that's why I believe Ulti will become a strawhat and travel with the crew how will she meet up with the crew i'm not sure but It'll happen sooner than later

Ulti joining rather than Yamato sounds off to me, i’d rather her and Page One replace the Scabbards that died and Yamato seek out the crew instead. Its not going to take very long for Momo to train and adjust to the body he’s grown into.

I don't really care for the idea that she has to be on the crew because she's a token [insert marginalized group here] member. Nobody says King has to be on the crew because he's a Lunarian. It would be nice to have more members that are female and/or are from a certain racial group/species like Minks or Tontotta, but Ulti specifically probably wouldn't be a great pick, imo.

That's not a fresh one though, it'd be essentially the same trope but with the genders flipped.

i don't think it'll be the same, Sanji and Zoro's rivalry is mainly about strength and one upping the other a guys rivalry but i think Ulti and Nami would be more akin to a mean girls type of rivalry mental mind games and shit talking but never about strength or raw power that's what makes Zoro vs Sanji stale.

I think i already made a king might become a strawhat post back in the day but thinking about it Ulti is a better choice imo and adds more to the crew besides being another brute that's really strong and adds nothing fresh to the crew.

i'm all for Yamato becoming an official traveling companion but i think her role will be guardian of wano at least until the final arc then she'll join up for the final war before returning to wano afterwards Ulti would be a perfect proxy imo

I believe Ulti will remain on Wano to defend it after Yamato leaves for Laugh Tale.

Yamato + King + Tama will unite the Beast Pirate Remnants, and have them defend Wano as penance for their crimes.

King follows Kaido's orders absolutely, and Kaido's wish was for Yamato to become Shogun. For this reason, I believe King will now take orders from Yamato, and seek to defend her.

I do believe a few Beast Pirates will join Yamato/Tama's Straw Hat division, though, so it's possible Ulti joins through this manner.

I HIGHLY doubt Luffy will give her an invite, though, and when it comes to Straw Hats, only two things really matter, in my opinion:

1. Does Luffy want them to join the Crew?
2. Do they want to join the Crew?

If both happens, I consider them to be a Straw Hat, even if they stay behind like Yamato/Momo/Vivi. Tama is another case because Luffy said she could join once she learns Ninjutsu. Since Luffy honors his word, once Tama shows up with Ninjtusu, she's joining.

The weird case is Carrot, because she SCREAMS Straw Hat, but Luffy's never given her a direct invite. It's possible Luffy has invited her, and Oda didn't show us that scene, but will show it later when she does join (he does stuff like that a lot).

I just don't see Luffy giving Ulti an invite, since they're both so stubborn.
