The problem here is, Dragon Damnation is stronger than Loki+Ragnir combo.

Dragon Damnation was overpowered by someone who isn't even on Imu's radar when it comes to powerlevels. Imu is also better at utilizing this sword considering his rage should be on another level than someone like Bummers who's merely a sadist.

We had Imu casually one-hand block a stronger punch a few pages later, and in last chapter we see Imu manually parrying kraken gatling so we know Imu is literally fucking around with him.
In comparison Oda never drew Imu countering Loki's moves without having to use his own moves (omen attack/omen gigantification/gram), so it's fair to assume it's less hassle for Imu to avoid Loki's hits.
