In the first place the whole point of Haki is to be able to counter DF users.
Imu's ability at the end of the day is a Devil Fruit ability. It makes no sense that only CoC can counter it.
Greenbull who clowned Yamato for instance has no way to defeat the HK but Yamato does, simply coz she is special even though Greenbull is several time stronger than her. My point is that regardless of how strong you are, you're always playing second fiddle to CoC users simply coz they are special regardless of how hard you work.

Haki doesn't "counter" DF. That's the sea/kairouseki.
CoA is able to INTERACT with DFs, not straight up "counter" them. There's a distinction.

No, he can't. My point was that being a conqueror doesn't necessarily make others irrelevant, however, and your very own example adds to that point. Conquerors can lose to people who aren't conquerors, and CoC being the specific weakness to Maki, assuming nothing else is possible, doesn't change that.
