No he doesnt.
Shanks is a weaker swordsman than mihawk meaning his haki and sword loses to mihawks haki and sword
Shanks of the past. Before he became a Yonko. None of that matters given the fact that we know nothing about those fights. Or who won those duels given that they would have continued had Shanks not lost his arm.

Reminder That Every Strawhat is due a Flashback Powerup …….

Luffy And Robin will not be the only ones to receive this treatment.

Which was expected.
The problem is how long it's been since the timeskip.
You'd expect these flashbacks to justify powerups into the New World journey, not 10 arcs later when the SHs were already at death's door that many times without flashing back to that important lesson.

True but you have to have an opponent that requires reflection.
For Zoro and Sanji it has never been explained how they know what Conquerors Haki is, or even what Haki is in general. So it’s safe to assume we get a flashback to them learning the concept of Haki.

why wouldnt mihawk or ivankov train them in haki? just because we didnt see the same lesson 3 times for luffy, zoro, and sanji doesn't mean they didnt learn anything. dressrosa's mihawk flashback was all haki training
