They went from slightly unhealthy fanboyism to complete delusion and created their own manga and never stopped since, because they couldn't and can't ever since Wano deal with fiction not matching their beliefs

Zoro fans in Wano were like Ohio State vs Michigan in recent years in College Football
Better team, but their mentality/desire to win in a certain way (in Ohio State's case it was wanting to win by running the ball rather than pass it to their STACKED wide receiver classes) kept making them lose close games. Finally, they stopped that shit, and beat them last year.
Zoro fans had a great Wano, but rather than treat ZKK like a fun theory, they dumped all their eggs into the basket, and looked ridiculous doing so.
Same thing with Sanji and CoC. Just take the win, your guy got CoC TWO ARCS before the other Wing did. NOPE, have to go crazy and start believing their own shitposts about how Sanji will never get CoC.
Completely self inflicted damage.
I DO believe Zoro will still beat Kaido, and Sanji will beat Linlin in Act 4. I think Imu Domis both of them, and Sanji saves Linlin, while Zoro kills Kaido.
IMO Sanji's big issue is being unable to fight women. CoC should theoretically let him knock out women without physically touching them, I'm hoping that's Sanji's workaround.
