1 week int break so far and countless injuries occured: Mbappe, Musiala, Havertz, Gakpo, Raphinia, Brobbey, Bruno, Isak, Dorgu, Konate and probably a few more that i forget now.

Those FIFA/UEFA clowns are capable of bringing back the Confederations Cup just so there can be matches 355 days a year.

Many players probably faking or exaggerating injuries too

Man United as an institution is already deeply mediocrized. As Ronaldo said, none is ambitious at the club

They are leeching off past legacy,

Manchester United Fans from that era groom their kids to also follow the same club, which explain the consistent high popularity

It will take a long time for MU to become elite again.

Although they could still pull surprises like Chelsea UCL in 2011etc.

But they are perpetual underdogs currently
We've been infected with cancer ever since 2005, when the Premier League allowed the Glazers to buy the club through a leveraged buyout, which is now illegal by the way because it's an insane arrangement that would sink any profitable institution.

Sir Alex was still able to keep us successful for another 7–8 years with 2 hands tied behind his back (bringing in Michael Owen and Antonio Valencia to replace Tevez and Ronaldo LOL, while players like Ribéry, Hazard, Benzema, and Aguero were available) because he's the GOAT

And that's how bad things already were: fans were organizing Glazers Out protests as far back as 2007–2009, when we were winning three Premier League titles in a row and reaching back-to-back Champions League finals. Imagine how bad the situation must have been for fans to be protesting even while we were dominating English football.

Once Sir Alex left, nobody was ever going to have a chance at success under the same ownership. The final nail in the coffin was Sheikh Jassim withdrawing his bid on October 14, 2023. That was the day Manchester United truly died forever. We might win a domestic cup every 3–4 years, but we're essentially no different now from Everton or Aston Villa.

@Reborn What are you talking about bro? This is literally one of the biggest cheating scandals in sports history. The only way Shitty can escape massive sanctions is if the UAE governemnt who own the club and have great ties to the Big Yahu can pressure retards like Starmer. If no government intervention with economic blackmailing goes on, the cheating cunts will be wrecked.

Scandal ? yes

But will city lose all the titles they won? Nope

Will they be relegated? Maybe or maybe not. But if I have pick one then likely not

City will fight all the charges and will appeal and process is lengthy and so I see the relegation being reduced to points deductions and some transfer window ban or penalties

One of the funniest things united did in the last years was assuming they can be successfull with washed big names Like di Maria, cavani or Ibrahimovic

Again, are you basing this on precedent, or are you factoring in outside pressure? I'm not talking about today, I'm talking about what happens after the entire appeal process is finished. Look at Everton and Forest. They were charged with a fraction of what City were charged with and still received heavy sanctions. There's no logical reasoning behind your position. If you extrapolate the historical punishments for these types of breaches and apply them proportionally to the scale of the charges against City, the punishment would be 100 times more severe.

Whether their titles are ultimately vacated or not is beside the point. Given the scale of the charges, no one will regard those titles as serious achievements regardless.

Again, unless the UAE government call in a favor with the Big Yahu, Shitty will get wrecked.

ManU has only one story going on from past 13-14 years.

Interim Manager - he wins few matches and fans/pundits hype him
He gets full time job - ManU gets thrashed by everyone. Once they got bitch slapped by second division team.

Fans cry. Manager gets sacked.
New Interim Manager is hired. Cycle repeat.

I am talking about how the process is likely to end. And, yeah I am factoring in Man City popularity as a team across the world and money/political influence over the case.
