I do think it’s Criminal we’ve only had 2 Official Fights for Sanji in The 16 Years of Post Timeskip. Killingham being his 3rd Fight. Like what has Oda been doing all these years? Pre Timeskip in the 12 Years Sanji was in the story he had 7 Opponents. We need more Sanji action Post Timeskip.
Return to Sabaody> destroys the pacifista alongside Zoro. known as one of the 3 that came from the TS with haki.
FI> gets a fight alongside Jimbo against a giant fisherman. Also have learned skywalk.
PH> has a small skirmish against Vergo, a character that initially trashed Law and Smoker before being taken out by Law later.
Dressrosa> clashes against the main baddie of the arc, loses due to the hax ability parasite. Takes away leading the other SHs, but not before commanding a counter attack against the Big Mom Pirates. The FIRST real clash of the SHs against a Yonko crew DIRECTLY.
Zou>nothing happens there.
WCI> mostly a rescue arc. But has a lot of small clashes against multiple characters throughout the arc.
Wano> Defeats a 1.3B YC.
Egghead> Best performance against the Seraphim (which Toei insanely decided to completely fuck up lmao), got his clash against Kizaru robbed by the retard that told him to run with Vegapunk, then procceed to immediately let Kizaru get past him and sneak Sanji from behind.
The issue is that, not only the post-TS arcs are notoriously longer than pre-TS arcs, we also started having a shit ton of breaks, which stalled them even further. But, looking at it, the only arcs where we had "majority of SHs getting 1v1s" were FI and Wano, and Sanji got "main fights" in both of them, albeit not a 1v1 in FI.
Aside from WCI (his own arc and not getting a dedicated 1v1 was a cheat), his run is not nearly as bad as people paint it out to be.
