Also scenes referenced in this chapter:
Baratie (flashback with Luffy) - “He didn’t save your life just so you can throw it away”
Skypeia (Bottom Right) - “I could use a light”
Zou (Bottom Middle) - Sanji saving Zeff from Germa by deciding to meet with them
WCI (Bottom Left) - After fight with Luffy where Luffy”I wasn’t the one feeling that pain”
Self-sacrifice for the sake of others is the theme here. His weakness, I guess. He needs to start do the same for the benefit of himself, some selfishness to balance it all out.

sanji dead ass always want to die bruh, i'm guessing that is his weakness ? :josad:
It's a matter of balance.
He puts others' way too much ahead of his own life.
His motivation for self sacrifice is tainted with a self deprecation of his own value. Something that comes since his intro in Baratie.
He thinks "dying" is the way to repay other people's kindness towards him, probably tied to his childhood with Germa.

What he needs to do is start accepting that his own life is worth it, and "dying" for others is not as noble as he thinks. If you die, you can't protect anyone anymore. you can't repay anyone anymore.
His mother didnt sacrifice herself so Sanji can go die.
Same as Zeff.

That's the main thing he must overcome. Once he does that, he can become the "unbreakable shield" that he is meant to be.
A full cycle.

He was annoying in alabasta, but he is the goat in Impel Down. Regardless, the Okamas were never good, specifically when it comes to Sanji, which is my original point.
But aside from the weird gag of them trying to force him into a dress, sanji never had a bad interaction like that with Ivankov, for example.
