He doesnt HAVE regen. Lol. Not like that. He has like......faster than normal healing, but not "wounds close and heal back to normal near instantly" type healing. Think back to when Reinu got shot. She still needed a whole night to fully heal. Which is way faster than a regular person, but not useful mid battle. Its not like Marco healing.
Seems Longinus functions like a super powerful lazer when thrusted, either that or that was just how devastating the piercing was (I guess same effect either way, kinda like King's Tempura Udon also). I'm interested in what the text reads but I think that's pretty fitting with the whole Sanji kicking one away. Hopefully we'll see Sanji outright overpower it but then again sometimes Sanji simply moves fast enough to avoid his opponent's big attacks (like with Kuroobi, with Jabra he kicked half the attack away, but Bon Kurei was a nice way of having both land their finishers and us seeing which was stronger).
I think it's good that this fight isn't so one-sided but having Sanji able to rip Killingham apart even with Omen seem to suggest most of the Holy Knights and potentially Gorosei will continue being somewhat brittle but with regen. At least Warcury was very tough so with Omen, could be even more of an issue. I guess that's just how Oda will handle regeneration even with the Omen boost.
I'm excited for the flashback. Sanji looking back to wanting to sacrifice himself for Zeff, him sacrificing himself at Skypie, trying to at Thriller Bark, Zou and Whole Cake Island, was cool. If nothing else, will be great to see some progress for Sanji in terms of personal growth/reflection and ACoC.
