Naruto is better MC than Luffy

Pre-timeskip Luffy, post-timeskip Luffy, and post-Wano/G5 Luffy are basically three different characters.
The first is a full-rounded character, smart and wise when needed (Chouchou dog, Hiluluk's flag, Vivi's speech, etc.), while still being reckless and able to grow.
The second is a flanderization of the first, being dumber and unable to learn anything from his mistakes.
The third is cancer.
Pure cancer.
Pre-ts Luffy is miles ahead of Part 1 Naruto as a person. But then in Shippuden, Naruto actually gets to grow, to learn from what he goes through. He turns a bit retarded by EOS, but he's still a better character by the end of it than Luffy has been since that crime against humanity called Wano.

Wano was the best example of being a reckless captain and putting your crew into danger.The chance of getting out alive/undefeated was 0%(ofc Plotarmor helps here for the sake of winning in the end aka Kaido was doomed from the getgo to lose)
But realisticly,Wano would have ended like Shanks vs Kidd.A totaly wash.Putting a second Yonkou in the same arc made it even worse
Plus it was said Kaido is ruthless.Yet it turned out the Prison is doing dance partys in Wano...

Naruto overall was still better, even in Part 1, because at least we can somewhat understand why he acted the way he was as a person in Part 1, and we see his growth later (ignoring EoS). Luffy just degrades
