The sheer difference in characterization is insane between the two.

It's important to understand that Zoro has a huge characterization, but like many thing in One Piece, it goes for the moment under the radar. I think Oda is planning to really demonstrate his journey openly at the end. Wano was just a step for ZOro, we shall not expect something from him there simply because he is a swordman, the point was on contrary to push him deeper further

Killingham probably just picked up Ivankov out of Sanji's thought similiar to how he did with that salt he took from Sommers mind

Worstgen also posted the fusion hint 2 hours ago.

The reddit spoiler is most likely going to be somewhat true, but the user just took from redon and worstgen's hint and made it into his own spoiler.
