@Fujishiro @SakazOuki honestly Elbaf as a whole is much better arc than Wano..Loki stuff..flash back..imu..gaban all is top notch stuff.
But Ass Pull around Zoro was lame
Ass pull around sanji is even more lame
Now it makes Sanji look like a complete retard who is so insecure he gets his crew in danger but suddenly this ass whooping gave him confidence..something Vergo Doffy Judge (his own father) King didnt.
Hell even Queen was kicking his ass pre power up.

The last time One Piece genuinely had any tension was when Saturn arrived on Egghead. But right after Kuma's flashback, Saturn got completely hammered by Kuma, and all that tension just vanished. Honestly, Saturn's fight against Luffy and everything else was pretty weak, and the series hasn't had any real tension since then.

I have criticized One Piece plenty of times before, and yes this writing for Sanji is not the greatest in all of fiction.
But if this type of writing was in another series, some of these same people are downplaying it, would be calling it peak and praising the author, but because it's One Piece and some people have hate boner for the series, they think it sucks.
Then you have some of the ZBoys, if this type of writing was switched and Zoro went though this development as a character, they would be hyping up Zoro even more and then saying that Zoro is one of the best written characters in all of Shonen.

But nah man for real, if Oda doesn't send Imu back immediately or shortly after Zoro and Sanji defeat/kill KH and Sommers, it would be so fucking dope if Sanji and Zoro would arrive to the fight aswell, blasting CoC everywhere. Would be the most badass entrance ever!
