His depression comes from not being joy boy. Its why he stated that since he is not joyboy, the only one that can kill him is joyboy.

Even within him putting his life on the line it was in search of joyboy.

So even kaido wanting to kill himself came with purpose.

Its again why the sanji thing is ass because

Kaido has conqueror and was literally doing the same thing Ioda is now claiming sanji of doing. The only difference is sanji was doing it to protect the people he care about while kaido was doing it because he cared about being joyboy yet kaido was still the one to obtain conquerors haki

Bm that could also use her strongest haki loda sealed it away making her rely strictly on just her df ability alone. So mant top tiers are nerfed when you look further into it

A great chapter, even if I felt the nerf/limitter for Sanji needed to be developed more throughout thr story explicitly.

Glad to see Unshackled Sanji and excited to see how the removal of his limitter is going to affect his fighting style: I guess will see more of his invisi-speed come into play. One thing, which is muddying this development is the eyebrow flip; i have no idea how it works! We thought it was a switch to access his modifications, but it turns it isn't. What was the point of it then?!

Also excited to see how Sanji triggers his CoC awakening, now that he has gotten over his self-deprecating streak. I dint think it will be instantaneous; he'll struggle to deal lasting damage even if he won't get hit. I wonder what thr catalyst for his awakening will be?!

Knew it the reason Sanji wasn't conqueror material was because he wasn't selfish enough he didnt value himself enough he always put others above himself now that he learned to value himself and put himself first he's gonna unlock his conquerors

It's poetic that even his self-worth is not selfish but comes from the love of his friends. It's that meme:- Don't believe in yourself! Believe in me, who believe in you!!
