Imagine getting triggered by funny powers 1000 chapters in a series. That obsession with wanting anyone to be an emo boy that you wanna marry is the easiest way to identify a narutardie looking for attention by latching to another popular series since even fans of other series know funny characters are the norm in true shonen, even with dbz only wannabe kids who dont actually watch/read it get triggered by the weird stuff since its so common.

So you remove the invincible wall of the death that showed how big of a deal the shs got themselves in, taking away all the tension and also ruins sanji's character arc by making him prove Judge right that he needed to fight to be useful. Great, you ruined the story, thankfully Oda is not an american kid.

The second half of WCI was actually extremely good and it gets noticeable in re-reads, the tension is massive and it has way more going on other than muh fight and muh power level, honestly most arcs get better in bulk, Oda clearly always write for the volumes which is why kids always dislike the arc they catch up in, but then newer readers come and say the arc was great.

Facts sometimes I realize aside from one piece we need to enjoy life so we don’t find time to nitpick Oda’s story to the atomic degree
