Luffy's Strength gap from Sanji was very big eversince TimeSkip, and similarly there is very big gap between Yonko and 3rd Commanders while Sanji himself is well below commanders in every aspect, except RS which Oda can Load on as much power as he wants as seen, next time raid suit might withstand Kaido as well 
Luffy defeating Kaido because he trained 2 weeks after getting absolutely destroyed in G4 don't make sense either

No really, the issue is Oda has never given us a fight where either Zoro gets pushed to his limits, it's an issue of limbo we're in because it has and always has been a guessing point, which makes 0 sense to not have Zoro have an extreme diff fight
The issue with Sanji is we've seen fights where he has been on the losing side, and that difference was showcased on Dressrosa, which I personally disagree with and you can make that case for Bege as well and then followed by his own arc where Oda specifcally chose not to give Sanji and extreme diff 1v1 fight, nor a chance to even spar with a commander of BMP. Also makes no sense either to have him be used as a hype tool for Doflamingo in that sense
To mark the point Sanji coming from NoWhere to YC1 is very plausible at this point in the story, even without the justification.
