I don't think that's quite the same thing. He punched 8 mountains, not just one mountain. So no, he didn't just throw a single punch but I don't believe he used multiple punches on the same mountain.

The iceberg was nowhere near 10 km. Even at 1 km, from the distance it was shown would stretch farther than the eye can see. It was the size of a football field at best.

He was training for chinjao someone he had failed to beat and he would have been training his coa. You dont train by one punching a mountain. He was for sure using multiple punches per mountain.

There is 3,280 feet in a single kilometer, 9,840 feet in 3 kilometers, and 32,800 feet in 10 kilometers. Even if you took Sanjuan's full height (Which Marineford was only a third of) and multiplied it by 3, you'd get half a km, not 3.

So take a third of Sanjuan Wolfs height, (60 m or 196 feet) multiply that by 3 and you get 180 m, or 590 feet. about a football field and a half. The length of the Iceberg was about 3 peaks, so multiply that by 3 and you get 540 m or 1771 feet. Not even a full kilometer.
