Yamato’s mother may have died during childbirth quite simple. The reason Yamato refer to her as son. It’s possible that Kaido’s always wanted boy but instead got girl. So he raised like a man
According recent sbs that’s impossible. Black Maria one year older than her.
It’s likely she did have a mom. The Oni race does children with another partner.
It appears that she has no idea where babies come from
In terms her character She may have been concubine, sukeban (female delinquent boss) or sacrifices. In terms her race she may human, oni, dragon or any other race . She could been sacrifice character, someone Kaido may fought in the past, or someone he bought from the auction house.
