IMO it should be atleast 390+ chapters to tie everything up and give most characters satisfying endings
Note that this isn’t how long you think it will be but rather how much is necessary in order to give OP a good ending in your opinion

I think it will be neither 400 or so nor 50, I bet on 150 give or take.

If the statement about 2024 as a deadline holds any slight truth, then this manga is not making it to 1400 chapters imo. Rather 1300 at best, and even then, that would end later.

50 chapters for Elbaf and around 150 for the final war, maybe 100 for the Laugh Tale journey + endings. That would be around 300 already.

It's too soon to make predictions anyway.

Oda said that by 2024/2025 the most interesting part of Luffy story will meet an end, but not the whole manga.
He is obviosly talking about Laugh Tale and Pirate King title, then after that there will be the Final war with the epilogue. For this I guess something between 200-250 chapters.
One Piece will end with 1400-1500 chapters imo.

100~ I guess. We really just need big moments for the Straw Hats and long term companions like Boa, Law or the Top 3 grand fleet captains. The rest of the protags won’t need anymore highlighting.

50-70.

Oda can't draw proper fights let alone wars and I think if he'd go for 100 chapters for that it would be such a waste of time on useless things instead of getting into a fight but that's just my opinion. I lost my hope in Oda a long time ago and Wano arc doesn't help at all.

To answer this question shortly. Don't expect 100 chapters of the epic war.

Again: Oda said that "the most exciting part of the story will be over in 5 years aka 2025".

It's pretty obvious that he means Luffy will become PK by then, since that's what Oda deems as most adventurous/exciting part of the story.

However, it's also clear that Oda emphasizes the fact that the manga itself will go on after that.

Right now we get about 35-38 chapters per year. 5 years would mean roughly 175-190 chapters until Luffy becomes PK. Since Oda never holds his deadlines, let's round it up to ~200 chapters.

That seems reasonable. About 70 chapters for Wano to finish (5 more for act three, 50 for act four, 10 for act five, 5 for in-between chapters), 70 chapters for Elbaf and 60 chapters for Laugh Tale and the final fight against Blackbeard.

After all that, the final war itself needs to be prepared of course and the war itself will dwarf Marineford, Oda said so much.

The entire Marineford saga (Impel Down + Marineford) lasted around 60 chapters, so it's reasonable to expect something like 80-100 chapters for the grand finale.

All in all that means we have roughly 300 chapters left, which means around 8 years in real time: 5 years for Luffy's PK adventure to conclude, 3 years for the final war saga.

100 chapters of war drawn by Oda will be a mess.

Saga or arc? I believe the saga will last long, but I don’t believe in a single arc of One Piece ever surpassing 200 chapters. That almost exclusively occurs when an author has lost some control of the story and needlessly pads out unnecessary elements. With how much Oda’s been thinking about the resolution to his manga, I trust he has a good handle on what it will be about and what to focus on.

It depends. We don't know what is going to happen after wano, but if Oda says that he intends to finish the series in 4-5 years,
He already has to have the duration of the war planned, but i guess there will be not only war some revelations too so i'll say 2 years
