Kizaru needed the help of a VA and seastone cuffs to do any noticeable damage to Marco. Even then he easily shrugged it off. I don't know what fanfic you are reading where he lost to Kizaru 1v1 with no distractions or outside help.

Admirals have hax fruits but are weaker than top commanders physically. That's why Fujitora was getting ragdolled by non serious Luffy and Zoro.
