would rather have strawhats have their own solo fights versus strong opponents than play fodder/cheerleader role vs kaido . so many people havelaw on their list, should keep in mind his last fight in prep for kaido was" hawkins", the fight before that he was mid diffed by doffy with no awakening needed, and kaido calls doffy weak. I dont imagine law has acquired some mystical powerup in that time. really interested in seeing how much he and kid do in this fight especially since this is the matchup the fandom has treated as canon since that sabaody panel they all shared. I doubt oda keeps it that way.

its not too far fetched to assume he would take on king a yc1 end of the arc .

struggled against hawkins who isnt a top yc tier character and you think this same guy is going to jump from that to damaging a yonko?

luffy had beat katakuri and cracker before taking on kaido and didnt damage him a bit in one of his stronger forms .
