He might give Kidd his shining/redemption moment but I won't expect him to get a massive shine.

He's had an arc that built his emotional investment in fighting Kaido with the whole business with Killer. I think if Oda abandoned his original plan with him he'd never have built up the stakes for him here. I think he'll get to shine with Luffy and Law against Kaido. It's just hard to follow such a massive arc 16 pages at a time per week. You wanna get to the main event but u gotta sit through the undercard as well.

Oda has new favourite character now so he forgot about Kidd since the character existed and get plenty of reception by the reader.

That new character is Oden also known as YAMATO

She'll get her shine for sure, but Kid will get his too. He's being saved for the main event.

Kid will not get a moment that surpasses any strawhats

hmm...do u mean by combat feats? or character moments? If the latter then possible, if former he'll def get some feats against Kaido or a calamity. It's been built up too much.

Oda actually said that Kid was the only Supernova that he imagined would be important. While the rest of the Supernova were just characters that he came up with on whim. He said he was very surprised by how important Law became. I also remember him saying that half the Supernova were supposed to die during the timeskip lol. So I actually would be surprised if Kid doesn’t at the very least get Law level of spotlight before the end of One Piece.

My headcanon is after Wano, they'll find out the location of the 4th Road Poneglyph. Then Kid, Luffy and Law will race to get it and all end up on Elbaph where they'll meet Shank's crew

Remember Shanks or someone from his crew took Kid's arm, so there's probably a confrontation in the future

I'll admit Kidd is a cool character but I just can't buy his rivalry with Luffy. Unless someone will respect rivalry between them for the sake of rivaling over who gets to the Laugh Tale first. Power-wise I don't think Kidd has something to surprise Luffy. For now, all we know is that he "injured" YC who was Snack and Snack was 3rd YC.

Luffy went through much more and although I shit on Luffy's growth because it's the benefit of the MC, Kidd is nowhere near this until proven otherwise.
