Nami's one was almost comedic, it was nice to see her saying that facing a death threat. Nobody doubted that Nami would survive but cool to see her guts and loyalty. But the cry make it more comical.

But Monet one was deeper, more touching, her last words were for her captain and it was beautiful. It was really well done, the way she was sacrificing herself for Dofla, her face half hiden, with just a simple little smile. Not making a huge show but on point.

Nami is crying too much for my taste. Not to be offensive of course, but that's what I literally think.

She isn't even sure of her death, unlike Monet, and look how much of a mature person Monet is in this fragment. She is sure she is about to die and spells her last words to her Young Master.

I think it's a matter of personality, that makes a hell of a difference.

My Nami dislike notwithstanding.
Monet still rings more powerful. Even with Nami facing an immediate threat in front of her.
Monet was alone, ready to die alone, not with somebody else there to see it, but alone and still having resolve to kill herself basically, and still holding onto the belief that Doflamingo would become the Pirate King.

nami showed loyalty monet should what being doffy’s bitch is like
:madmonk:
I won't make essays about why Monet is better character than Nami because I'm not a big Monet fans myself, and being a better character than Nami is as much of a feat as turning Judge's son into punching bag, but:

Monet showed loyalty while Nami's declaration is half assed. If Ulti didn't keep force her to say "Luffy won't be PK!" Nami wouldn't say it anyway.

Damsel already kept crying, already surrendering and begging for mercy in near of death while Monet sacrificed her life for her Young Master without any second thought.

Nami was literally lying like ussop and her talked about earlier in Wano, but she couldn't lie about Luffy. Which makes it even more powerful.

Nami's declaration was superior. It's uncharacteristic of her to show such daring, but once more, it was not necessary on her part. Usopp would not have held it against her, nor would the other Strawhats if she was trying to find a means of escape, but she still spoke from her heart, nonetheless.

We've also spent more time with Nami, so to see her this faithful feels rewarding.

Nami because she actually has a choice. Monet was fine too but it felt more like someone who was brainwashed. So you can expect her to die the moment Doffy claps his fingers.
Whereas in Nami's case, she is being tortured and abused to say it, threatened to death. She could just say no, and none of her crew mates would really mind but she chooses to say that Luffy will be. That's real conviction.

monet’s was more like insanity than loyalty
I feel she wasn't an insane person, it depends on what's intended.

She was a criminal, to the point she would kill people with no remorse, but she still had control of her mental faculties, so she hadn't been witched or something.

In such case her loyalty was legit, albeit she was messed up just like Doffy. But this is up for a different discussion I suppose.
