The problem is that it is a weak answer to Ulti request. It's cool Luffy won't give up until he reach his goal but not giving up does not equate to succeeding. It's just a fact. Luffy doesn't give up. Wiile the original text is a big fuck you to Ulti. An absolute affirmation that Luffy will be the pirate king.
Current Events Am i the only one who prefers the Unofficial translation on this?

Yh the official is shitty.
In the unofficial translation she proclaims Luffy will defintely become PK. Whilst in the official, it makes it seem like Nami is talking about his nature to never give up. So in the official she never even states he will become PK....only he will never stop till he becomes. Which is talking more about Luffy's personality....

It's a shame cause in the japanese text you can feel the almost religious level of faith and respect Nami has in Luffy his dream. Viz version feels so weak and it's a waste because it's the official english translation that will be remembered years later. Especially if it is supposed to be Nami big "Luffy will become the pirate king" declaration of the series.
