This is true, but keep in mind that every fandom would have seen their faves shined (hopefully) by the end of the series and those insecurities would somewhat fade eventually so the toxicity should be gone by that time
So there is still hope people come back to the series after it's done with a new perspective to look at other characters without bias

Just yesterday I saw a guy get bullied off the server because he thought Apoo was stringer than Zoro. They pulled out ALL his comments he'd ever made about it and made memes and everyone was tagging hm and all the Sanji fans abandoned the poor man and he just quit the server
