Hey—TAC here. I got a computer problem the last few months. Sometimes when my computer shuts down, it shuts down. I turn it on, everything but my monitor comes back. My monitor stays dark. I’ve messed with the cords a lot to try and see what the issue is but it’s really not working for me.

sometimes when I reset my computer enough it’ll send me to the repair windows screen and I can get everything working from there. But rn it’s me starting and turning off my computer for an hour when it gets like this. It’s really tedious and I don’t know what the issue is.

Ah, so it's your monitor, what cable is it? VGA, HDMI? Is there no signal on the screen? Does your "CPU" turn on? your pc Turns on but no signal is this? If so, it may be the RAM memory. Bad contact.

my computer turns on and if I reset it enough manually, it turns the monitor on and takes me to the repair boot up screen for windows 10. But that’s after like, thirty minutes of resetting it

Might have something to do with the graphics card.
My graphics card is pretty decent

Usually, if the PC turns on and does not show the image, the problem is the memory or the video card.
If you don't connect, the problem is between the HD and the CPU, so you'll have to go testing piece by piece.
When you turn it on (the cooler spins and doesn't stop) and there is no image, the problem is the memory and in most cases it's just a problem of bad contact, so you take a common eraser and put it in memory, (there are several tutorials about this).

I faced a similar problem but I'm not exactly sure if it is 1:1 what is happening to you.

Could you google this on yt or shit and show me to it?

According to my experience it could be the cpu, sometimes when the pc has some years some components in it lose their magnetic properties due to the usage, at this point you should take it out and try to remagnetize it by passing over it several times with a couple of strong magnets.

Our kindhearted @Zara once suggested me this and later the pc worked like a charm.
