So he either didnt practice it with Haki or either it wont be enough anyway. So that means Zoro didnt have anything more to show and he displayed all of his power.

How do you know he didn't practice it? Why would he not?

Then again he had absolutely no reason to use it specially when the author would not waste the surprise effect on guys like Pica when he could show it this arc against a beast like Kaido.

Zoro mid diffed Pica handily, the author would not show all his power without a solid reason.

Then Pica would have just created a new one. Part of closest distance was to isolate his body from golem so he can beat his real him. The manga showed us it doesn't matter how many times his golem is destroyed you have to be his real body.

To your point, to speculate as well look at Killer it did not take him that long to recover, Apoo can definitely recover or get back up during this war

Yeah sure, author in that fight was thinking about a fight happening hundreds of chapters away.
And he didnt mi diff him. He defeated him in a direct clash, where Pica abandoned his advantage (his devil fruit power) against a guy who his main power is CQC with swords.

Apoo will definitely come back. Point is almost every character in one piece comes back even the ones that cut by sword. Apoo may even switch sides.
