Zoro's swords will only cut Logias in half, else they'll leave deep cuts but not kill for reasons of gore. You could raise the same objection to Sanzen Sekai cutting Pica's mountains but not Pica himself, or Kyros cutting Diamane's sword but not Diamante.

The only swordsman who will cut people up is Law.
