Let's compare raw power exertion. Cutting pica is a mountain level feat of AP. Did doffy use Mountain level AP to defeat Sanji?

One Answer is that Shanks is a swordsman and Mihawk is the strongest swordsman.
Another easy answer is that the story won't have Zoro beat Shanks. Shanks is Luffy's mentor. Shanks can't be the strongest swordsman or else that would mean Zoro has to defeat Luffy's mentor

Well.... first of all That Overheat attack Doffy was about to use on Sanji was very powerful, and had exceptional range.
Doflamingo cuts better than most swordsman in one piece honestly...... But Don't compare going up against Doffy to going against Pica. Doflamingo is in a completely different league, he' s a different beast in combat compared to his underlings. Raw Power is cool and all but that's not enough to win a fight against Warlord/Commander level individuals you need a lot more than just power.

The hierarchy was never officially introduced but we clearly have elements to say that Zoro features as the second man in the crew.
He is the only man to be directly sought by Luffy. Also the parallel with Rayleigh is even more bewildering than the one that sees Oden and Zoro one next the other. We also have random pirates affirming that Zoro could of been captain thanks to his power. Zoro himself claimed that had Luffy not displayed he was worthy of being captain anymore Zoro would of taken command over the Thousand Sunny.

First of all, overheat has never cut a mountain in half
Secondly, Doflamingo never even used overheat on sanji. He just grabbed him with parasite and then used an unnamed string slash to finish him. And doffy's unnamed slashes areally also not mountain level
If you wanna say lots of power isn't the issue then how about speed? Was their a lot of speed used by doffy to beat Sanji? Was parasite faster that Zoro's single slash bisecting pica basically in an instant?
Pick one thing that makes The Doffy vs Sanji encounter more impressive.

In terms of CoO, Luffy is far superior. Zoro has no strength feats on the level of King Kon Gun (No, that Pica slash was nowhere near KKG). Both have advanced armament haki so we can't say one is superior to the other in that aspect. Zoro's speed has never been specified to be above Luffy's in any way whereas Luffy has a Gear 4 form that specializes in speed. Luffy absolutely outclasses or at least equals to Zoro in every way. Tbh, future sight alone is a pretty big advantage over him.
