ONE PIECE CHAPTER 998: ANCIENT SPECIES

Wasn't a theory way back on Zou that King would be a sabertooth swordsman and Queen a tank triceratops? Funny that was right, but for the wrong characters.
Since this was basically a big chapter about the TR, next one could do the same for the Calamities, then set up 1000 for whatever 1000 is going to be- seems like Luffy vs Kaido starting, which wouldn't really be worth the delay unless there's a real bombshell in it like Kaido killing Kin'emon or something like that.
JInbei vs WW is an unexpected one. If that's a fight Oda's going ahead with, I'd hope that WW got some serious hype to make up for him not being a Calamity. Maybe make it that him and Jack fought for the third spot and he narrowly lost out, hence why he's so obsessed with the idea of fighting them again. Give us a solid example of this idea that the Beast Pirates can be promoted in battle.
The Yamato flashback is coming, but I don't think it is the most narratively dramatic time for it yet. I think it's more likely to come whenever her and Kaido meet up.
Going forward, my real question for the fights is if Onigashima is going to be slow moving, so that all of them happen there, or fast, so they can spread out to the mainland. Kaido is certainly going down at the capital, but I'm not sure if Oda is going to bother having to set-up all the other ones again- especially since not all the current ones will be the final match-ups.
Oda might not give them for the TR. But if he does, the perfect time would be when they all go hybrid and we know that's the final fights ready to begin.

The infected are a threat to everyone because they will attack anyone. Marco use a fire attack on a huge area to to suppress the virus. You can see the silhouette of several people burning inside the fire. The same area that Apoo just happen to be at. He just happened to get up after the flames were used in that area.
The flames don't continue to burn except for the infected area. Chopper entire body was on fire but the area that continued to burn was only infected area.

The area Marco regenerated were in front of Chopper. Apoo came from behind Chopper. Completrly different areas. Apoo wasnt regenerated...why tf would Oda even do that. And if he were it wouldve 100% been brought up.

He has only healed animals beside himself
In this chapter, he didn't heal anyone but supressed the spread , the virus isn't gone! Chopper will mae antidotes to cure the virus.
Apoo isn't get healed or touched by the flames.
