Litteraly the most useless flashback in the whole manga, nothing new added to the story that we didn't know before. Who in the world cares about seeing Ace saving kids in onigashima while daddy kaido isn't home ?

Oda's ways of stalling chapter 1000 is making me depressed, i'd rather see Luffy climbing infinite stairs than that flashback.

Joining to break apart a crew doesnt verfiy that Garp beat Rocks directly based on Odas scheme and parallels we have Luffy to Roger
we can assume it was Roger alone who beat him the rest stalled the crew for him
