1) Socialism =/= communism. Socialism is more worker co-op model of business, while communism is well, yeah. Socialism is boliva, communism is russia.
2) America has failed too, capitalism eventually becomes late state capitalism, which is what we're suffering now.
I don't think you realize how much America is doing on the global stage tbh. It's not just imperialism, we are creating coups in peaceful countries, siding with the villains like Israel again Iran (who relatively are the good guys), we are drone striking countless innocents, etc.
Anyway it's imperative that we get money out of politics, and start putting money towards stuff like universal healthcare, monthly ubi AT LEAST during the pandemic, increase the minimum wage (it's proven to not increase the prices anywhere near the level people pretend, it's like 40 cent increase on burgers and stuff, at the expense of human lives and proper salaries) to AT LEAST 15 bucks, free college, reduce our military budget to a comparable level to other world powers (if you cut ours in half, it'd still be the largest in the world), properly tax the rich, etc.
