When you look at the strawhats everyone has a story that either some scarificed something for him/her or he/she lost someone they hold dear.
Luffy get rescued by Shanks who sacrificed his arm to rescue him , Ace sacrificed his life for him and he lost him.
Zoro lost his dear friend and rival Kuina.
Nami was rescued by Bellmere and she lost her later.
Usopp lost his mother.
Sanji lost his mother and Zeff sacrificed his leg for him.
Chopper lost his mentor and father figure Dr Hiriluk, who rescued him in the past.
Robin lost her mother and Ohara was rescued by Saul who sacrificed himself for her.
Franky lost his mentor and teacher tom.
Brook lost all of his friends.
Jinbe lost his captain.
I think every new strawhat recruit will have a such tragedy , who will fit to be a strawhat based on that?
my picks:
Momo and Tama fit perfectly.
Carrot as well since she lost Pedro who was her teacher.
Law fits the most , he is a captain though but who knows he could decide to join after Wano after he sees that only Luffy is gonna be the pirate king , and he is long time with them that it really seems to be a crewmate.

Someone please explain me because peoples are wanting that rabbit girl as a SHCM.
Her past was telled in three little frames of one page,and don't exist nothing of great or depth in that.
Her "quirks" as character aren't nothing that stand out. Chopper's Jumping and Arm Points are endlessly more interesting than her leap power and boxing.
She not has any potential to stand out as Animal Character. Bepo and Faust interest me endlessly more than her.
Summarizing: Based in all that Carrot showed so far,she's worthy of be nothing more than a background character that had time in main plot. But after Totto Land Arc don't exist nothing more to do with her. That was proved with her being just one of Zou's Minks since arrived in Wano.
The only Animal Character SHC need is Chopper. He isn't a Mink but he always had endlessly more depth and potential than almost all Minks of Zou. Oda must back to use him so greatly as Before Time-Skip in current arc.

Carrot lost someone recently and was happy for her whole life from what we know so far. That's unlike anything we've from the SHs and shes done nothing to stand out and have any meaningful interaction with Luffy which again, unlike any previous SH.

Tama and Momo are 8 years old...time and time again we've seen children get turned down for being too young....Shanks didn't it to Luffy, Roger did it to Pedro etc.....

Yeah, I’m less convinced with each chapter that Carrot will have much more influence on the story than she did in Zou/WCI arcs. Still think Momo is going to remain in Wano as shogun, and Law joining the Grand Fleet instead of the main crew seems more likely, but Tama...she would be a VERY interesting addition to the Straw Hat Pirates.

She’s got a connection to the captain’s late brother, she has a Devil Fruit with seemingly untapped potential, she’s young and therefore capable of disarming certain opponents with her innocence, and the Straw Hats don’t currently have an apprentice like Shanks/Buggy on Gol D. Roger’s ship. Not sure what would really be keeping her in Wano after the shit goes down, other than to see Luffy’s promise fulfilled...but she can still witness the aftermath AND decide to follow the man who made it happen.

Side note: What if SHE’S narrating One Piece instead of Usopp as many have theorized?? Maybe after joining the crew, she and Usopp become close, he tells her all about their journey before coming to her homeland, and she eventually follows him back to his village...when we begin the epilogue, she’s regaling some children (who turn out to be Kaya and the long nose’s kids) with tales of the Pirate King and his mighty crew.

Most OP characters with a revealed story, good or bad ones, had a rough past with more times than not a loss of an important one bar the scumbag ones (Stelly, Spandam etc).

About Momo amd Tama theu will most likely stay in Wano, SH are not babysitters and Momo will most likely lead the country after the war with the help of his scabbards, Tama is almost not relevant at this point, for sure not even close to the level of attention a nakama gets in the arc he or she joins.

Carrot pretty much gets now even less space than Tama.

Law has his crew and to keep his reputation as a supernova captain he needs to leave Luffy asap, same for Luffy, I don't want him to turn into a Jesus characters who makes everybody become his maid.

Marco is more a fighter than a doctor and he will be really a good addition for the team , at leat i can see him join them till they defeat blackbeard. more than that he is not really an actual doctor he uses just his DF to heal people.

That is actually one of the reasons why he should join, in every crew (as in real world and in one piece) there's more then one doctor in case if the the doctor himself is wounded and needs a help or for example if doctor is dead etc. Roger had more than 1 doctor same as WB, BM etc.

No, reread the manga, Rayleigh said that Crocus joined the crew when Roger got sick and they recruited Crocus to cure Roger but he couldn't and eventually he travelled with them till the end, there is no way that Roger travelled all that time in New World whiteout a doctor.

Shanks invited Marco and he refused.
Big Mom invited King and he refused.
Luffy will invite a rival's crewmember/first mate and he will join, showing that Luffy accomplished what the Yonko failed to do.

Marco has many reasons to join Luffy .
Jinbe helped Luffy in MF and joined.
Marco and Law could join too. and tell me they are captains Jinbe was a captain as well :D
Luffy is gonna have many top tiers in his crew he is going to bring the WG down after all.
Roger was only a pirate king but didn't fight the WG.

Yeah no, this nonsense has got to stop. Usopp and Franky are both inventors, builders, and sharpshooters to a degree. Not to mention Luffy and Jinbe are both captains, and Brook is swordsman (Zoro), perv (Sanji), and was a captain (Luffy). Oda does occasional overlap with only the person's crew position on the Sunny having to be different. So if Oda wants Dr. Marco or Dr. Trafalgar to join the SH's as say an ambassador or strategist there's nothing stopping him really. :cautious:

Personally I don't care who joins as long as they are awesome and not Carrot, lol.
